Drake's was founded in 1977 by Michael Drake in East London, famous for silk weaving. Originally a manufacturer of men's scarves, shawls and more, the company soon expanded to handmade ties and handkerchiefs, gaining a reputation for their quality among luxury boutiques and department stores in Paris, Milan, Tokyo and New York.

Currently, Drake's is producing various types of outerwear, accessories and selvedge denim, including premium jerseys, various outerwear, accessories and selvedge denim, under the direction of creative director Micahel Hill.
